Choosing a crate mattress
Measure the inside of the crate
Measure the inside floor of the crate, not the outside, and choose a mattress a little under that so it lies flat without riding up the sides.
Thickness
Thicker mattresses are softer, thinner ones leave more headroom. Most beds here are between 7 and 10cm, and each page gives the exact figure.
Non-slip bases
A base with grip stops the mattress sliding when your dog gets in and out. Where the listing mentions it, we say so on the page.
Washing
Plush mattresses are generally machine washable. Check the care label, dry thoroughly, and shake the filling back into shape.
