Choosing a raised dog bed
Why raised
A raised bed leaves a gap under the fabric so air can circulate. That suits warm rooms, conservatories, patios and gardens, and the mesh does not soak up water or hold hair.
Frame and weight limit
Steel frames take more weight than light plastic tubing. Where the listing gives a limit, we show it on the product page. Check it against your dog's weight.
Indoor or outdoor
Outdoor beds should sit on firm, level ground. A canopy adds shade, and any bed lasts longer if you bring it in during heavy weather.
Comfort
