About this dog bed
Favodormir Waterproof Crate Mattress is a waterproof dog mat in grey, 104 x 68 x 8cm (L x W x H). Faux leather on both sides means mud, drool and accidents wipe off in seconds, and the 8cm egg-crate foam stops the cold of a crate floor coming through. It is a mattress rather than a bolster bed, so it slips into a crate or a car boot.
Some dogs are better served by a bed that is built to be cleaned than by one that is built to be fluffy. The Favodormir Waterproof Crate Mattress is exactly that: faux leather on both sides over 25D egg-crate foam, with 8cm 25D egg-crate foam and faux leather on both sides.
Best suited to crate-trained dogs, travelling dogs, and wet-weather walkers whose beds take a beating. To check the fit, lay a tape measure on the floor where the bed will go and mark 104cm by 68cm with masking tape. That is the footprint of this bed. If your dog fits on the tape curled up with room to spare, it is likely to be comfortable, and if the dog's legs hang off when stretched out, go up a size.
Faux leather is cooler in summer and warmer in winter, per the listing, but it is not as soft underfoot as a plush bed. This bed arrives ready to use, so there is little to do beyond removing the packaging. Give it a quick wipe, put it down and let your dog find it.
On the listing, the features come to 8cm 25D egg-crate foam; faux leather on both sides; wipe-clean, waterproof surface; suits crates, car boots and caravans. The material is faux leather on both sides over 25D egg-crate foam. If something is not mentioned on this page, it is not a feature we can promise.
Care guide
A little regular care keeps a dog bed fresh for longer. These steps are written for this style of bed; always check the care label on the bed itself first and test any cleaner on a hidden patch.

It wipes clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. The full care guide is further up this page.
